Last night was a great time from start to finish.....for me. And we all know what the holiday season is about, don't we?! Yes....little o' me!
It started with a house full of Little People.
It's Christmas Break and
Boys will be boys. There was only ONE near fatal fatality. Apparently being hit in the 'privates' will take a boy out for a solid 30 minutes. and while said boy is down...the others will swarm him like a wounded animal.
Since there was no blood, I proceeded to the nail salon. I needed a Manicure and Pedicure. I know, I shouldn't have gotten a pedicure, nobody is ever gonna see my toes. But let me tell you something... I like pedicures. a. lot. AND remember... what's the holiday season about? you're catching on! ME.
I went to the salon because I had a work Christmas party to attend. Not my work, but my friend's work. And I wanted to look cute with some Hooker Red nail polish!
| What's that? Cougar Claws? I think YES! |
The company provided all the kids at the company with toys. That's pretty neat, huh?! It was held at a hotel in OKC off Meridan. There was a full course meal and dessert. It was TASTY! Duncan said, "how come your food doesn't taste like this?" WHAT?! This close to Christmas and he's talking like that? Ahem.... I think a few things aren't going to make it under the tree.
After the Party I was taken through the light display in Yukon. And let me tell you internetz something.... It was spectacular!! We opted for the train ride through the light display first. It was cold, but that puts you in the holiday spirit, and you get some cozy cuddle time.
I really enjoyed the lights and think I have decided that I want to go see Chickasha Lights next. I've never been. My sister has, and goes with a group of her friends. None of my friends seem to have the light fetish I have, so they aren't interested.
After the lights, we dropped off our handsome escort at his double parked chariot and Duncan and I drove home. Me with a smile from ear to ear (because the season is about?....ME...Keep up!) and Duncan with his hands glued to my cell phone looking through "ifunny". Picture perfect post card moment.
